Kathy Sarai, AMFT | Los Angeles Therapist

About Me

I believe that everyone is doing their best to navigate life's complexities. The ways we cope and protect ourselves can sometimes lead to disconnection from both others and ourselves. My practice is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and insight. As an attachment-oriented therapist, I strive to understand how early relationships and experiences shape one's sense of self and self-worth. This focus on attachment guides my therapeutic approach, emphasizing the importance of building a strong and trusting connection with my clients.

I am an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT #145386). I am supervised by Dr. Daniel Sadigh, Psy.D. (LMFT MFC 48597).

My Specialties

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, low self-worth, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship struggles, and the complexities of parenthood. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I provide services in English and Farsi, ensuring a culturally sensitive and inclusive space for healing.

My Approach

My goal is to support you in fostering a deeper connection with yourself and developing greater self-compassion. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and honor the diversity of life experiences that shape each person’s journey. It would be a privilege to support you in your path toward healing and self-discovery.
